About Sharing Social Welfare Foundation

The Sharing Social Welfare Foundation was established to commemorate the lives and work of Rev. Hsu Yang (楊煦牧師)and his wife Fung-Ying Lin (林鳯英師母). They are the founders of the Christian Mountain Children's Home who two characters from their names 煦英that together sound very much like the English word "sharing," and this is its mission to continue in their spirit of love and charity to provide comprehensive social welfare services to the those in need.

About Christian Mountain Children's Home

Rev. Hsu Yang, the founder of Christian Mountain Children's Home (CMCH) together with wife Fung-Ying Lin, were touched by God’s calling to serve others. Yang studied in Seminary in 1952, upholding the aspiration for caring for orphaned children in the mountains. Rev. Hsu Yang voluntarily chose to serve at Liugui Baptist Church in the southern rural regions of Taiwan after graduating from Seminary in 1955. It was then he started preaching the gospel and began to raise and care for orphaned aboriginal children.
